Weekday Work

I have been so bad about posting lately. I've been crazy busy at with work the past week or so and I am just now finding time to sit and breathe.

When I'm not booking shoots I work at a one off local clothing store in downtown Greensboro, NC called Civic Threads. We sell local, USA made, handmade & some vintage things. We also carry lots of items from non-profits/charities as well, like Falling Whistles, Red Thread Movement, Epoch Renewal & Krochet Kids International to name a few. But right now we are in the midst of changing everything. New name, new logo, new paint & a new business partnership. So, this week we've been repainting the whole store (HALLELUJAH I've been wanting to do that for 2 years now!) and resetting the whole layout. It looks amazing now and I couldn't be happier, but I am exhausted and CANNOT wait for 8pm to roll around tonight. HELLO WEEKEND!

Anti Valentine's Day

In my last post I showed you adorable couples & best friends sharing in the joy of love and happiness. Super cute, blah blah blah. My precious sister came to me with the idea of doing an "anti valentine/crying/upset" shoot. I was 100% on board with this idea and it fit in really well with the cutesy props Jenny had been working on too. These pictures of Cassidy are SO COOL, y'all. Jenny did an great job styling this little shoot. It is the biggest blessing to be surrounded by such creative and wonderful people, I almost can't handle it! Super, super humbled and grateful for the friendships and contacts I have.

Valentine's Day

Over the past 2 weekends I had the pleasure of working with my best friend Jenny Ford of Muse & Delphia to collaborate on the most adorably cheesy and perfect Valentine's Day mini shoots. We spent a day in Winston-Salem & Greensboro, NC shooting & shooting & shooting & shooting and it was SO much fun. Here is sampling of all the different shoots we did, I hope you enjoy!
