Madeline Cookies

Oh my, life has been so busy I haven't even had time to stop and make a small blog post about cookies. That's a really sad thing, y'all.
ANYWAY. A week or so ago I decided I was going to buy a Madeline pan make some cookies because I kept seeing all these cute pans at Marshall's (I'm there every week with my boyfriend. I don't know why, but that's a different story)! Even though I had never had them before, but that's sorta the point of baking, right? Right. So naturally I got one (on sale WOO!) and started looking up any and all recipes I could. I found a ton of WONDERFUL recipes via Pinterest (an Earl Grey & Honey one that I will be trying REAL soon) but I decided to just keep it simple and just make a basic and classic madeline.

These little babies turned out PERFECT and were much easier than I expected. A bunch of the recipes I found had 8 million different steps and made it seem like "only professionals can make these, so don't even try!" Well screw that. I made them and got that perfect little "poof" in the center too. So take that culinary world! I'm coming for ya!

You can find the recipe I used here
Enjoy!
